Rosemary joined the litigation and commercial team in the Baldwins Auckland office in 1999. She has been a partner of the firm since October 2002. She works primarily in the area of dispute resolution across all areas of intellectual property, and in the licensing and franchising fields.
Rosemary works on patent, copyright, trade mark and design disputes and litigation, provides advice on the commercialisation of intellectual property and prepares licensing and technology transfer agreements.
Rosemary’s expertise spans both the dispute resolution area of intellectual property and broader based litigation and licensing and contracting resulting from the development and exploitation of intellectual property rights. She is a registered patent attorney in both New Zealand and Australia. This enables her to bring complementary skills to her practice in both of these areas. She has also been engaged in branding and trade mark protection and has an interest in sports law.
